According to 9to5Google and Android Police, Google Keep is a note-taking app for Google Drive, Android mobile devices, and a standalone web app that lets users take notes, create lists, and other possbile functions (a web clipper would be pretty dope).
Makes sense - I'm pretty sure Google fans would love to have a native note app to save and sync their favorite things, and there is no doubt that Google wants to keep users in their ecosystem as much as possible. Adding Google Keep to Google Drive would be the perfect way to ween fans off of services like Evernote and OneNote.
I use Google's services all the time, especially Google Drive. But I love me some Evernote. The details on Google Keep are scarce with the exception of some screen shots grabbed before the link was taken down. So we will have to wait to see if Google is serious enough with Google Keep to go after the heavy-hitters in the digital note-taking/syncing space.
